A Resume That’s a Roadmap
Tript Singh Lamba was Executive-In-Residence at Sierra for 2 months while he and I ideated on a few ideas, but “Cusor for Product” has the highest resonance with companies that we talked to and extreme Founder-Problem fit
Tript has spent his career building the foundation of the modern internet and scaling the products that sit on top of it. With over 14 patents spanning AI, cloud, and networking technologies that power billions of devices, he was an early engineer on Microsoft Messenger. He helped launch both Bing and what would become Azure. At Google, he co-founded the Ads AI personalization team, contributing to more than $100 billion in ad revenue. He later led YouTube Ads through a period of hypergrowth, doubling revenue from $15 billion to $30 billion.
Most recently, as SVP of Product at Expedia Group, Tript led an AI-first transformation of the global consumer experience across Expedia, Hotels.com, and VRBO. He was responsible for over $10 billion in annual revenue, driving product strategy across air, lodging, and car categories in every major global market. Over the years, he has built and led large-scale cross-functional teams across product, engineering, design, data science, and research.

I invited Tript to our offsite in Healdsburg so that he gets to spend some quality time with our extended team. We shook hands on terms at 12:06 am and signed on a Pizza Box to capture the commitment. It was official; our handshake is our contract !
Three weeks later, Sierra Ventures officially closed on ProductNow’s $6 million seed round alongside Parameter Ventures and top operators from cloud, consumer, and AI companies.
