Sierra Ventures backs Sliver.tv $6.2M Round to create immersive VR for eSports

Congratulations to Mitch Liu and the Sliver.tv team for closing a $6.2M round and launching the next-generation beta application for both Android and iOS devices that support a 360 degree view for mobile and VR for Google Cardboard. 

Sliver.tv is bridging the 250 million eSports viewers gap to enjoy virtual reality. Mitch Liu, founder and CEO of Silver.tv, stated, “We recognized early on that the existing eSports viewing approach from the player’s point-of-view is not necessarily the best perspective for the audience. Our vision is to transform the eSports spectator experience forever.”
