Anne Gherini is Chief Marketing Officer and an investor at Sierra Ventures, where she runs the firm's platform. She supports early-stage founders as a fractional GTM Lead, helps build Sierra's enterprise communities, and develops new sources of deal flow.
Anne spent over a decade leading GTM at high-growth startups before moving into venture. Her focus has always been on GTM efficiency and on helping early-stage companies achieve repeatable growth. Earlier in her career, she ran enterprise partnerships at Sony and Paramount Pictures, connecting F1000 brands to entertainment properties.
Anne has written for numerous publications, both under her own name and as a ghostwriter, and has had a column in Inc. Magazine for seven years. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego.
Outside of work, she is a distance runner who has run over 20 marathons and ultramarathons, and a recent skiing convert after decades of sitting down to strap into a snowboard.
