Ray Kurzweil, Author, Inventor, Futurist is the Opening Keynote Presenter at the Sierra CXO Summit

Sierra Ventures is honored that Ray Kurzweil will be the opening keynote speaker at the 10th anniversary Sierra CXO Summit on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. Kurzweil will kick off the Big SHIFT conference theme with a thought-provoking disruptive technology presentation to the 100 + Summit attendees.

Kurzweil is one of the world’s leading inventors, thinkers, and futurists, with a thirty-year track record of accurate predictions. Called “the restless genius” by The Wall Street Journal and “the ultimate thinking machine” by Forbes magazine, which described him as the “rightful heir to Thomas Edison.” PBS selected him as one of the “sixteen revolutionaries who made America.”

Kurzweil has written five national best-selling books, including the New York Times bestsellers The Singularity Is Near (2005) and How To Create A Mind (2012). He is a Director of Engineering at Google heading up a team developing machine intelligence and natural language understanding.

The Sierra CXO Summit attendees will have the opportunity to meet and share lunch with Kurzweil before the keynote, and also receive a signed book.
