Phenom People raises additional $2.7 million in Series A

This additional funding increases Phenom People’s amount to $7.6 million. This latest investment was contributed by Sigma Prime, a Boston-based venture capital firm, led the round with the $2.7 million. Phenom People is already backed by Sierra Ventures and Kenexa founder Rudy Karsan, one of Philadelphia’s biggest entrepreneurial success stories after selling his company to IBM in 2012 for $1.3 billion.
