Mumbai: If you told a venture capitalist (VC) in the US that it’s possible to build a great company from scratch with a sub-$1 million funding, he would probably laugh it off as a figment of your imagination. But Pravin Gandhi, Bharati Jacob and Mahesh Murthy have been making precisely such investments for the past six years, with often remarkable results.
